Services
Currently, I provide individual therapy to adults throughout California online via telehealth.
I work with adults experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, difficulties with life transitions and adjustments, insomnia & sleep issues, and stress. We can work together to create change if you have: frequent thoughts of self-criticism, perfectionism, unworthiness, or judgment from others, or other thoughts that leave you anxious or depressed and that interfere with your daily life.
I do not provide emergency or crisis services. Because I offer therapy exclusively online, it may not be an appropriate treatment modality for someone with high symptom severity, self injurious behaviors, or unmanaged/unmedicated bipolar disorder.
I use HIPAA-compliant telehealth systems to communicate and transmit documents, and to do therapy. I have a standard session time of 45-50 minutes. Sessions are typically scheduled on a recurring, weekly basis and the duration of therapy depends on your goals and preferences. I offer a 15-20 minute free consultation prior to scheduling a first session so that we can see whether we are a good mutual fit for working together.
At this time, I do not currently provide couple, family, or child therapy. I also do not provide medication management, neuropsychological assessments, disability evaluations, support animal evaluations, custody evaluations, or other assessments.
Fees
Session Fees and Insurance
The out of pocket fee for a therapy session (45-50 minutes) is $300. These fees are due at the time of service through an online HIPAA-compliant billing system. I am happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurer to seek reimbursement for OON services.
I also currently accept insurance from Aetna and Anthem Blue Cross California. If you would like to use this insurance, please let me know during our free consultation so I can set you up to verify your coverage.
Please feel free to reach out with questions.
Other Fees
You may request additional services and if we agree to them then other fees for those services will be discussed at that time. More information on specific fees is available in the Informed Consent for therapy document.
At the outset of therapy, I will provide you with an estimate of expected costs based on the services you are seeking. For more information on this, please read about the No Surprises Act on the LEGAL page.
